Craftsmanship You Can See

Good drywall work contributes to the overall appearance of an interior. A finished wall or ceiling may begin with newly installed gypsum board, a damaged area that needs repair, or a remodeling project that brings new and existing surfaces together.

What happens between that starting point and the finished surface matters. Varland Drywall Inc. has been established since 1994.

Our team provides full-service residential drywall work, from installation and hanging through taping, mudding, finishing, repair, texture, and surface restoration. Browse our gallery to see examples of our workmanship and the range of drywall projects our team handles.

Residential Drywall Installation and Finishing

New drywall begins as individual gypsum board panels. After installation, seams, corners, and fastener areas require additional work before the surface reaches its finished appearance. Our drywall services cover this progression through Drywall Installation, Drywall Hanging & Finishing, and Taping & Mudding. Gallery images can give homeowners a closer look at the surfaces created through these stages and the finished results of professional residential drywall work.

Drywall Repairs and Restored Surfaces

Holes, cracks, damaged sections, and remodeling changes can interrupt an otherwise continuous wall or ceiling. Our Drywall Repair & Patching services address applicable localized damage, while Drywall Replacement is available when an affected section requires new gypsum board. Repair work also involves the surrounding surface. Patches and replacement sections create transitions that need finishing. Where texture is present, additional texture matching may be appropriate. Our gallery showcases the type of detailed wall and ceiling work Varland Drywall provides throughout our service territory.

Ceiling Drywall and Interior Finishes

Ceilings can require new drywall installation, localized repairs, replacement sections, or updates to an existing finish. Varland Drywall provides Ceiling Drywall Installation & Repair as well as Popcorn Ceiling Removal & Repair for applicable residential projects. After the underlying ceiling drywall is addressed, finishing and texture can become important parts of the completed surface. A gallery is especially useful for ceiling projects because it allows homeowners to see the range of finished surfaces and workmanship involved in professional drywall services.

Texture and Smooth-Finish Work

The final surface does not need to look the same on every drywall project. Varland Drywall provides Texture Matching & Custom Hand Textures, including work involving orange peel, knockdown, skip trowel, and custom hand textures. For appropriate projects where a smoother surface is preferred, we also provide Level 5 Finishing & Skim Coating. These services address different goals. Texture matching can help repaired or newly finished drywall transition into an existing pattern. Custom texture work can create a different finished appearance. Skim coating and higher-level finishing provide another direction for projects focused on smoother surfaces. Gallery images can help demonstrate the variety possible within professional drywall finishing.

Drywall for Remodeling, Basements, and Garages

Remodeling projects can combine several drywall services. New walls may require drywall installation. Existing areas can need patching or replacement. Ceilings may become part of the project, and transitions between new and existing drywall require finishing.

Varland Drywall provides Basement, Garage & Remodeling Drywall for these connected residential applications. Our gallery provides a visual look at the craftsmanship that goes into turning drywall work into finished interior surfaces.
